Mario Aguilar is the guest this week. He hosted a Pearl Jam podcast back in the days when you had to tie two tin cans together with string and press Play & Record at the same time on a wax cylinder. I mean, do kids nowadays even realize that they’re called “podcasts” because you would have to download them to your iPod to be able to listen to them on the go (or Rio MP3 player if you weren’t in the tax bracket that could afford Apple products)?
Mario also has a connection to film, so he was the perfect guest to come on and talk about the Pearl Jam song “Man Of The Hour” which was featured on the soundtrack to Tim Burton’s Big Fish.
